Description

Claude Lhoste’s passion for animals begins in his childhood, to such an extent that he surrounds himself with a menagerie, once an adult.
His sculptures thus result from a long observation of these perfect beings, to arrive at the pure form, almost a refined. Unified volumes, an undulating line to better translate the movement. Caught in their most significant attitudes, his animals kneaded with tenderness, touch the sublime. A genial bestiary, hymn to the animal life.
