Description

The youngest and most talented artist of the Pop-Art movement of his generation was born in the poor neighborhoods of Recife, Brazil. From childhood he painted on pieces of cardboard and old newspapers. His practice of graffiti and his boundless optimism will succeed in making Cubism smile, from which he is inspired. Brilliant and shimmering colors, a world populated by creatures that give envy and faith in life. Universally known, this humanist artist, whose foundation helps the teaching of disinherited children, is present on five continents, in prestigious collections and renowned museums. His works range from the monumental pyramid commemorating the return of Tutankhamun, in Hyde Park in London, to the limited editions of these small ceramic series of his emblematic characters. A concentrate of his art, so endearing and touching.
